A Year in Review: Rockfield Media's 2025

MiRiDER Marks Five Years with a Community Celebration

September brought a major milestone for MiRiDER, as their newly refurbished HQ in Wigan opened its doors for a special 5th anniversary open day. The event welcomed customers, suppliers, colleagues, and dignitaries, including the Mayor of Wigan, for a day filled with energy, conversation, and a true sense of community. Highlights included fundraising for local charity Joining Jack (raising over £1,000) and a prize draw that sent one lucky winner home with a brand-new MiRiDER 24.

Our team was there to capture every moment, producing a round-up film that quickly became a client favourite. Having supported MiRiDER from their earliest days, it’s been inspiring to watch the brand go from launching British-built folding ebikes, to building a loyal following of riders and retailers across the UK. The next chapter promises even more innovation and growth in the pipeline.

Evolving the MiRiDER Identity

When a brand has a strong foundation, refreshing its identity is about evolution, not revolution. Some of our 2025 work with MiRiDER focused on developing a new icon. Something clean, distinctive, and versatile enough to work everywhere from bike frames and accessories to digital platforms and merchandise. Through a truly collaborative process, we landed on a sleek, future-facing mark that captures the brand’s forward momentum and adaptability.

Bringing the NBA to Manchester’s Lowry Hotel

In partnership with Manchester City Council and the NBA’s Vice President of Global Events, we took on a unique creative brief: transform The Lowry Hotel bar into a space with the warmth and character of a traditional English pub for the Basketball Without Borders VIP welcome dinner.

With just a few hours to work alongside the hotel’s hospitality team, we introduced dark oak panelling, rich textures, and custom oil paintings of the VIP guests. The end result? A space that surprised and delighted, earning the ultimate client feedback: “It’s exactly what I wanted.” Projects like these are a reminder of why we thrive on high-pressure, high-reward creative challenges.

Pentraeth Mazda: Celebrating 40 Years of Partnership

Our long-standing relationship with Pentraeth Automotive is something we’re incredibly proud of. As they mark 40 years with Mazda in 2025, we were honoured to help them celebrate this milestone. Anniversaries like these are about more than just numbers, they’re an opportunity to honour the journey and highlight decades of dedication.

Our team designed a special anniversary icon that feels both celebratory and seamlessly integrated with the Pentraeth Mazda brand. You’ll see this mark rolled out across social media, point-of-sale materials, and event branding from throughout the year.

A highlight of the celebrations was a special anniversary lunch at Signatures Restaurant in Conwy, bringing together great people, great stories, and four decades of success. Here’s to Pentraeth Mazda’s remarkable journey, and to many more years ahead.

A Championship moment for Disklok

Donington Park set the stage for a thrilling season finale, with Disklok’s sponsored F1000 (Jedi) racing car, driven by the talented Matt Higginson, securing the championship title. The atmosphere was electric and our cameras were there to catch every pulse-racing moment. From the anticipation in the paddock to the celebrations on the podium, we documented the full story.

Behind the Scenes: Video & Imagery

Our creative team thrives on authentic storytelling. At Donington, we were able to blend dynamic action shots with candid behind-the-scenes moments, showcasing not just the race, but the people, family, and passion behind Disklok’s commitment to excellence.

The resulting video and imagery bring the event to life, offering Disklok’s audience a front-row seat to the action and reinforcing their brand as a leader in automotive security.

Our work with Disklok extends beyond race day. By providing high-quality video and photographic assets, we’ve supported their global marketing efforts, helping them connect with audiences from the UK to Japan, the USA, and beyond.

The Donington Park content stands as a testament to the power of creative partnership and the value of investing in standout content.

Unveiling the Family Business Group brand icon

This year also marked a creative milestone for our team: the development of a new brand icon for the Family Business Group, the powerhouse behind Disklok, DriBox, Festive Lights, MiRiDER, Waxly, SafariPak, and G3ARED.

The Higginson family’s portfolio is a testament to technical excellence and forward-thinking innovation, spanning sectors from automotive security to lighting, outdoor adventure, and e-mobility.

When they approached us to design an icon for the Family Business Group, the brief was clear: create a visual identity that reflects their innovative approach, technical know-how, and strong family foundation.

Our solution? An icon that’s both modern and timeless, symbolising unity, precision, and a shared commitment to quality across all their brands. The new mark visually pulls together the group’s diverse ventures, while signalling to partners and customers alike that, at the heart of every project, there’s a family-driven passion for excellence.

We’re proud to have played a part in shaping the next chapter for the Family Business Group, and excited to see how this new identity supports their continued growth and innovation.
